In addition to Edvarda`s artistic activity she has been engaged in work related to art and communication at the Munch Museum, Høstutstillingen, Astrup Fearnley Museum of Modern art etc. Edvardas artistic purpose is to express a sense of beauty and sensuality, through a creative process where her greatest concern lies in materializing these visions, as narratives of individuals in different situations and settings. To fulfil her ideas she uses fragments of already existing icons from art and life. She rearranges the images by exploring new connections that reveal dreams and desires where the conscious and unconscious remain fluid. Her sense for the tension between chaos and perfection is an underlying aspect of her art. The crafted image strives to express a balance between harmony and disorder until it becomes a poem of suggestion and allusion. As she deals with myth of life and beauty, her inner wish is to offer the viewer a room for reflection and joy.
